This evolving body of works reflects on both the dedicated resilience and increasing fragility of apiculture, reflecting on their time working as a beekeeper's farmhand before and after moving to Australia and ongoing ties to the community.
This suite collects variations on a theme, with vessels bearing fragmented, ephemeral, lithographically-printed images of frame honeycomb and impressions of comb in the surface, and vessels which have been placed in a European hive for bees to build in freely.
To be shown in the 2025 Northern Beaches Environmental Art & Design Prize.
